Ed.......After I replaced my MS750 power supply with a new one I still had issues because the failing power supply caused a hard drive failure. I installed a new DVR rated 750GB IDE hard drive with the operating system preinstalled and the music server booted right up. I had a backup of the majority of my music files that I was able to restore to the new hard drive, then I hand loaded the remaining discs I wanted on the server.
You may have lost some boot sectors on your hard drive or had the file allocation tables corrupted. A new hard drive with the operating system will probably get you back up and running.
