Default After 19 years, it’s time for a system rebuild.

Out with the old (Art Audio Jota monoblocks and Hovland HP100) and in with the new (Coincident M300B plus Coincident phono and line stages). The old stuff was worn out and replacement parts, like 32B output tubes, are hard to find. Besides, spending money is fun…until it runs out.

I am a tweaker and I couldn’t resist making some changes to the new gear. I replaced the coupling caps in the Coincident electronics with Duelund CAST. That change was better than expected and I was encouraged to do the same with the Trio crossovers. That was even better. I replaced most of the tubes with NOS and I am thinking about Elrog 300b for the output tubes. I’m also thinking about a new phono cartridge.
