I agree that its way over the top. However my 2 meter Dragon HC's are 9,500 a piece going into my Niagara 5000's. I have 2 of them. Then I have (4) 1 meter Dragon HC's at 5,200 a piece and (3) Dragon Sources 1 meter at 4,200 a piece. It's the silver. Then the manufacturer is sucked into all sorts of innovations that further drive up the price. Is it worth it? As Dave Wilson has said: "It only hurts for a little while."
Currently (today) I have installed my new AQ Diamond 1.5 meter USB cable which is solid silver as opposed to my old Coffee.
