Ivan.......I have my Ultra SS isolators snug to the bottom of my MC2301 amplifiers, but I do have the hi-hats backed off at least a half turn. They are doing their thing quite nicely as installed.
Are you saying that the Stillpoints Ultra SS body with the threaded adapter screwed into it needs to be backed off the bottom of a component a half turn, the same as the hi-hat? In other words, is there supposed to be space between the Ultra SS main body and the component with the component's weight only on the threaded adapter?
