Magic's are a sealed box design...i.e. no speaker ports. While the merits of this architecture are the subject of many debates, for me, it made matching the speaker to my smallish listening room a delight. I'm currently playing S1 Mk II's and have a pair of M3's due next month. To my ears, in my room, with my front end, they are the best I've owned. High points are transparency, detail, soundstage depth, breadth and presence. The tweeter produces the most saturated, dense sound I have yet heard.
