Sal - Joe is correct that this is absolutely another option aside from using a portable USB drive for 192/24 files. DLNA streaming from a computer via ethernet or wireless does indeed work. You need a program installed on your computer like JRiver or Asset UPNP to enable this to function. I've used it many times successfully, however I found that my preference is to use the portable hard drive. I don't have that many 192/24 files - I have a lot more 96/24, and the vast majority of my collection is ripped from CD. I would rather not have to find a work around like you mention, but it is minor given all of the functionality that the Oppo players provide.
