Well ... guys thanks for the tips! Using one of the other USB ports on the back of the N100H seems to have done the trick. Playing just like it used to again out of the input USB ports. The regular usb is putting nothing out. I’ll let you guys know what Aurender says.
I would have never thought to try the USB port labeled input. Wondering if that port is of the same quality as the regular output? Seems Not to be quite as smooth as before but that could be me imagining that too.

Update ... now all the USB ports are dead. Back on the laptop. Did it with my old Audioquest diamond usb cable as well.
