I had a Project RPM10.1 with the Sumiko Blackbird and when it came time to replace, Sumiko had a trade up program so I went with the Pearwood Celebration II and it was a step up but I reckon the rest of the analog rig was holding it back. When I got a new Acoustic Signature Thunder, using the Pearwood on it yielded much bigger improvements.
Might be worth a thought before springing for an expensive upgrade.
