CFz.......Here is something to help you determine which speaker terminal is positive (+). First, reconnect the speaker as it was originally. Use a 1.5 volt AA battery and two short pieces of wire attached to the positive and negative speaker terminals. Touch the wires briefly to each end on the AA battery. If the woofer cone moves out, the wire on the positive side of the battery is the positive (+) speaker terminal. If the woofer draws in, then the wire on the negative side of the battery is the speaker's positive (+) terminal.
