I'm sceptical of the overall effectiveness of the UltraSS under an Alexia and reasonably confident you will not get the benefit from them that you could if you put UltraSS under, say, an electronic component with a power supply or transformer. The UltraSS is too small for the Alexia, imo. The sound will probably change but you may not get what you think you're paying for.

The Alexias were designed for use with the diodes+spikes they come with. Neither are the Stillpoints a universal product.

Stillpoints can be effective when used appropriately. They are not "voodoo". I found the UltraSS work very well under heavy amplifiers.

Excellent posts and as you have posted, exactly what I had been told by my dealer & several within Wilson Audio .

"X" material construction of the Alexia and overall design & sound produced will be greatly impacted to something less than factory intended.

The intent of the diodes and spikes is as you say drain the main module of resonances rather than store it inside itself.

I'm all for improving the sound as many audiophiles; but not at the expense of what I paid dearly for. Accessories such as the Stillpoints for my speakers is not on my bucket list.
