I recently purchased a Kimber Kable HD29 HDMI cable, but in a 1.5M lenght. I always believed that quality HDMI cables didn't really matter for image quality as well, digital is digital, 0 & 1, right? Well, I was wrong. I plugged this cable from my STB to my BDA-3 dac and boy the image is much sharper, less noise/grain. Image is more lifelike. The thing is, there is the "output" cable that goes from the dac to the HDMI plug in the wall (6" long female to female in the wall) to a longer 30 feet cable to the projector. I think I have found the cable I was looking for. With the source cable, I could see a direct improvement and this is only 1080P on a 106" screen. I wonder how good it could be if I have a HD29 loom.
