But isn't it the case that it's always easier to tone the subwoofer down or help the
issue via bass traps from a bigger sub rather than changing it for a smaller one that in
some cases it may be more strained and may not pressurize the room as effortless?
And there is also option to try different placement in the room. Did you try to add
some sort of absortion in that particular area?
