Greg,

When I read the MEN220's description of Ron-C, I bet the 2 units are the same except for cosmetics.
They use both the same Room Perfect DSP designed and made by Lyngdorf with Analog Devices from what I understand.
They have the same functions.
I would be interested in the kind od Dac and Adc the Mc uses. Lyngdorf uses :
Adc : 1 x AKM AK 5394
(conversion multibits Delta-Sigma 24 / 192) 2 sym channels
Dac : 2 ( 1 by channel )x Wolfson WM 8740 EDS multibits Delta-Sigma 24 bits / 192 kHz.
Adc for the microphone : AKM AK 5357 Delta-Sigma 24 bits / 96 kHz.
If these are the same in the Mc, so I really bet the 2 units are similar. I just noticed a difference though. Ron stated that the MEN220 allows "System EQ using built in curves or custom curves". The RP1 does not allow for custom curves.
You have a nice description of the Lyngdorf here ( you'll need maybe a french / english dictionary ) : http://www.audioquartet.fr/pdf/Lyngdorf.RP-1.pdf

Cheers,
Jérôme
