Can't help you with the ones on stands Don. I have 4 footers stacked 2 high around the room to give me floor to ceiling coverage. Well almost, ceilings are 9'. You can then tune the room by turning the traps to diffuse or absorb. And a difference you will hear!
I wouldn't buy something you're not happy with now though. You'll probably be sorry later. The blue is kinda different. Especially if it doesn't go in your room. I have all tan ones except in the corners behind the speakers. I added massive and heavy 24" diameter units in black for a little contrast last year. They go down to 20Hz. They are hard to move by myself and it took 8 months to get them.
