Magico's are not known to be a warmer speaker and the Mk II is supposed to be a significant improvement. For warmer you might want to look to Nola, Spendor or Monitor Audio Gold among others. For just over what you are looking to spend the Spatial Audio X-2 would be a great choice in a large room providing the aesthetics work for you.
