I doubt there is any appreciable difference apart from the 3 dB extra headroom of the MC302. Otherwise, the 150 wpc should be more than adequate with a pair of loudspeakers of 90 dB sensitivity in an average room from a typical listening distance.
Realistically the MC152 capability should be closer to 200 wpc continuous given the conservative manner in which McIntosh rates its products. Short duration peak capabilities are even higher still.
