My neighbor George was on Diesels, god love him, he has since moved and should be under earth by now. Self made after the Navy, but a die hard. F bombs every sentence, no filter cigarettes, coffee and booze with “Diesel Boats Forever” tattooed on his arm.

I was stationed in Key West when I served on the diesel boats. Then out of Scotland for the time on the nuclear boat. We had two crews so the duty wasn't bad. Three months on and three months off.
