I just purchased an Orange VT1000 to have ‘just in case’. While a certain member has performed testing on my tubes in the past, I just lost one that took out a few resistors in one of my MC2301s. The tech told me which tube slot was bad but I don’t have those tubes segregated so need a way to quickly separate it when I get the amp back. (I sent it for service with the tubes that were in the other operating amp). I think the Orange should allow me to find the bad tube. If not, I am buying 8 new GL KT 88s.
