We are planning a follow-up review at our home with the updated Ilumnia Magister.
The brothers Nuyts improved on their original concept.
They sent me the following details:
Additional front loaded bass reflex and adapted rear loaded bass reflex ports
Better cabinet damping (in total 3kg of additional damping/deadening per speaker)
Adapted filter to comply with above mentioned changes.
Our living room is certainly better to test than the attic of Tom. 
And I can see that the work they did on the Ilumnia meets Jacques' and my critique.
