It depends on how much you care about your video quality but the big point is disc media is way ahead of streams for now.

I do not watch movies in a HT environment like I used to so it's not as important. The sound is from the 4k TV built in speakers which fine for me. Yes, the streaming is a bit behind 4K Bluray disc but then again there are hardly any movies worth watching more than once so owning a 4k bluray to watch it once is simply not for me. This coming from a guy who used to buy all the latest Blu-ray discs for years and years. No more.
