Part of me thinks Paul is just the most amazing salesman... after all, watching all of his videos give me the urge to try his PS Audio DAC.... it was good, certainly for the price, but nothing compared to whats out there... largely because of the build quality frankly, as I believe Ted Smith is very capable of building a top end DAC, but he needs his hands to be untied... (read work for dCS, MSB, etc...)..
As to Paul... I sometimes wonder how he got so far in the Audio world... he doesn't seem to be a real engineer when I hear him talk.. I mean I've probably retained more EE knowledge after getting my EE some 30 years ago and never working in the field than he seems to have, having worked in it his entire life!
I mean some of what I hear him say makes me shake my head...
