When I saw the picture of it, I said ..that looks familiar and headed to the CD racks and took a gander.

Looking on the rear of the CD, it states:
"This disc is deisgned to enhance the enjoyment of
Dan's listening to ..... "
It goes on to state, "the main tool is track seven, a five minute glide tone that when played thru your system at a moderately low level listening volume, will improve its sound. While we do not have conclusive proof of the mechanism involved, we sspect that it functions by demagnitizing residual fields that build up in your components over time."
Looking at Track Seven, it states "Full Glide Tone. This 300 second track contains a 285 second glide tone that sweeps from 5 Hz to 20 kHz, preceeded by 5 seconds of silence and followed by 10 seconds of silence. Please be certain to play the entire track without interruption. Try it, you'll like it."
