Now that you have a great set of speakers and amp to anchor your system, I would recommend a better DAC. In the sub $6K range, I've found the PSAudio Perfect Wave MKII to be very musical and I've heard in others' systems that the Lampizator and Bel Canto flagships are both detailed and musical. I'm jealous of those Salons!
