I plan to send HDMI from an Ayre DX-5 DSD to the SP3. Balanced LR from the SP3 will go to a by-pass channel of an Ayer KX-5 Twenty preamp. This setup will use the SP3 DAC. How good is it?
Balanced stereo from the Ayre disc player will continue to go directly to the Ayre preamp.
