Default A corner

OK, would this work? My home theater is small. My front channel speakers are in the front corners of the room. My sub (JBL Project Array 1500) is in the center between the two L&R fronts with the center on a shelf over the sub. We all know the sub would work better in a corner. What if I build a very firm cabinet (box) for the sub to sit in such that the box would provide a corner directly behind the sub and it's port? The box would sit as a diamond shape such that the corner of the box would catch the subs port output and working as a horn re-direct the sound forward. Would that could that work to better give the sub a corner to work out of. Or.... would it just be best to leave it as it is sitting in front of a flat wall? What do you think? Any other ideas? Cheers, Frank
