I purchased an Autonomic MMS-5A media server a few years ago, just a few months before McIntosh introduced their MB100 (based on the Autonomic hardware and software). For the time, it was a great choice. But Roon (which I now use) is a much better interface than the proprietary one for the Autonomic and McIntosh units.
Time does pass on...especially with technology.
