Reassuring to read that there are a fair number of contented Ayre KX-5/VX-5 & KX-R/MX-R users on this & forum.
I'll be auditioning the KX-5/VX-5 Twenty pairing, intended for a CD/SACD replay & streaming system i'm hoping to acquire/assemble, come the new year.
Impressed with what i'd heard of Ayre's K-5xe/V-5xe duo. Among people who've heard the 5 series Twenty iterations, the consensus seems to be that KX-5 Twenty really punches well above it's weight sonically.
Just wanted to ask whether the KX-5 Twenty could feasibly be partnered with the VX-R Twenty, or perhaps even MX-R Twenty?
