Not the weekend, but last Monday I went to the Bastrop Fire Relief Concert. What a lineup!
Christopher Cross, Erik Johnson, Joe Satriani, Shawn Colvin, Asleep at the Wheel, Texas Tornados, Lyle Lovett, Willie Nelson, Dixie Chicks, George Strait, and more that slip my mind right now. For the most part this music is not my usual cup of tea - I only hear it at my barber shop - but now I have the radio in my pickup tuned to KASE. Maybe this opened up the last frontier in my appreciation of music genres.
