Yes, I have a C Sharp turntable, an e-glo phono preamp, and the C2500 (with MC75 amps). I can say the sound is lively. I don't adjust tone. Whatever tubes Audio Classics has in the 2500, I haven't changed them. I have used a variety of carts already--Quintet Black, 2M Bronze, Cadenza Blue. I have a 2M Blue Cart on the turntable on my vintage system. I do think carts can make quite a significant difference. Even turntable clamps can. Generally the EAT supplied device dulls the sound to a degree, and an Oyaide weight livens it. Did you ever have good sound with this turntable in your current system? If so, what has changed? If the table is new to the set up I'd maybe have that cart setup checked again,or change carts.
