If you want a simple speaker the 4213E is a great choice. And, it is much better than the current speaker you have.

The new 70the anniversary edition of the 4312SE has the same low frequency driver as the 4429 studio monitor, but the difference is made by the high and ultra high compression drivers in the 4429. These really do a hell of a job.
