Some month ago I brought my Macs to a SF dealer.
I wanted to listen to Cremona and Cremona Auditor.
With my rig the auditor sounded better.
More transparency and emotions.
Just wanted to buy the Auditor but then I listened to those old legendary Spendors - I was in heaven.
For me they sounded so much better in all disciplines I bought them immediatly.
They sound so natural, relaxed and smooth - even today I can't believe it if I would't hear it.
The SF sound nice and are very gorgeous, the Spendors are old fashioned and maybe ugly.
But I buy a speaker for its sound and the Spendors sound terrific.
