Update ... figured out at least what the problem is. On the early part of the record the arm is rocking back and forth from an Azimuth standpoint. By the second track it gets stable. The woofers are moving in sync with the rocking of the tonearm. Cleaned and lubed the bearing tonight and that didn't help. The headshell sites completely level when the record isn't moving but on the first track it just goes to rocking back and forth. Very strange! My new Levinson preamp does have a subsonic filter on the phono section so I'm using that for now and bypassing my ARC PH8 until I have a better solution.
