I was giving this some thought regarding metal materials science, and came to the conclusiion that a metal (beryllium) driver like a tweeter needs no break-in because because it is a metal connection and as long as the driver isn't forcing the metal to flex beyond its elastic limit on a stress/strain curve (the tweeter would break if it did if the voice coil didn't self destruct first), the flexibility/resiliency of the beryllium metal would be the same almost forever.
