Agree that you should listen to whatever speaker(s) you audition for no less than an hour or two if possible. Like Mike said, initial perception can change dramatically over a longer listen.

I also agree that Dynaudio speakers work with near all kinds of music. Electronics and cabling are important, obviously, to get the most out of them. I enjoyed the 601s and 500T driving them .
