Well, with taxes and importation / distribution fees, a french wine costing 50 $ in France will cost 100 $ in the US / Canada.
Yes I drink wines costing 100$ and more but I also appreciate many wines costing about 20 euros in France ( 32 - 35 $ ).
Some 20 euros wines are sometimes better than many wines costing more than 100 euros...
