A concern is any noise from the toroidal transformer. I have several other components with transformers that emit mechanical hum, which I've overcome with AVA "Hum Dinger" boxes (these are said to counteract DC on the AC line). My listening room is extremely quiet, so I need to ask, does the BIT produce any noise?
The only time the BIT would have transformer noise would be if you overload the current draw from the attached component. Given the 4B I would go with the BIT 20 and use the 15 amp to 20 amp adapter line cord.
