I used to own a pair of Sonus faber Guarneri Memento speakers, similar to the Olympica, and before that I owned a pair of Sonus faber Cremona Auditors. I had both in the studio system and powered them with MC275 MkV amps set up in mono, and then powered the Guarneri Memento's with an MC452. The GM's responded well to the solid state power.

Start a new thread once you have the SF Olympica speakers. I will follow it with interest.
