Venere,

I didn't attend AXPONA, but I did attend RMAF 2015. Something you said really stands out, "So get a speaker that fits your room both sonically and spatially. Too big or too small for the room is a fundamental mistake that no tweaking can overcome." So many want to say that speaker X is so much better than speaker Y, but it begins with finding a speaker that matches your room and sonic priorities. I recently changed from Aerial 7Ts to Monitor Audio PL500s. My room is L shaped, 20' width x 28' length, and the width of the L shape extending to 24'. Its not about the PL500s being better, but about them being more suitable for my relatively big room. Even with dual subs, the Aerials just couldn't give me the scale I was looking for. The Aerials are still great speakers to me, but there is just something about big speakers that can create the magic that smaller speakers can't.
