Hi David,

The 3 Ohm minimum impedance is not a problem for the E-560, even stable to 1 Ohm for music signal.

All the Accuphase power amps will be able to handle the 3 Ohm load.
Just wondering how much more heat a A-65 will generate, in summer the E-560 is just bearable.

The Spectral gear is not my cup of tea, although sounding great (even with non MIT cables)

I might stay with the E-560 after all, the new separate power supply group and new distribution block has 75hrs of playing now, soundstage has become remarkebly wider, deeper and higher. The low frequencies come with more pressure, (just playing a CD from the Nits (Malpensa, Minus Second Floor) I feel the vibration in my listening chair, never had that before. Also I can play louder then before. Instruments and voices are very stable positioned and have more air around them.

By far this has been the best upgrade (also cost wise) I have done for a few years. The apartment building I live is quite new, I didn't anticipate that a separate group would improve this much. (using a shielded groundcable with 3x4mm)
