Just to be clear: connecting any computer via USB directly to a DAC is not a good idea. Much better to use a network bridge, streamer or similar. Even the affordable Sonore microRendu v1.5 for $399 will provide a big improvement in audio quality.
The farther away computers with high-bandwidth CPUs and GPUs are from audio racks with analog amplification components and speaker cables, the better.
