I went from PS Audio Statement power cords to Shunyata Black Mamba HC on my amp and preamp. I thought it was a major step up. I now use Shunyata Alpha HC in my whole system. But cables like everything else are system dependent.
I would look around and see what people with similar equipment are using. Use that as a starting point. Then see if you can find some to try in your system. Research and listen as much as you can. Then make a long term plan and work toward it.
