Some do-Some don't, Some will-Some won't. If you substitute the word component for cable in your first sentence, there are millions of people pleased with their iPods.
They should be happy knowing that they never heard any difference.
For me, I love music and want to get every last ounce of performance from my system.
I do have a question-Have you ever tried an expensive power cord or cable on your system?.
