Dan, you're killing me. 
Whenever you take a picture that you've uploaded, just go into a quick photo program (like Preview on a Mac) and resize the photo to the appropriate size, only takes 2 seconds. Then when you upload to whatever site you use for pics, you don't have to worry about size or resolution when you post to A.A.
