I had this transport and loved it, simply gorgeous !!! Out of the blue my dealer and friend called me and asked if it was in working order. I said yes, he said sell it now, Krell just informed him there would be no further support. Sony/Phillips would not provide the drive assembly in small quantities.
If the laser assembly is a complete module I would think any competent Tech could replace it. Hopefully no alignment would be necessary.
