The appearance of the new G series style just leaves me cold. I hope the gear sounds great because, after all, that's what really counts. And perhaps the lack of a black faceplate option on the G-type style prejudices me, because that's long been my preference.
It's odd that ARC and McIntosh are now owned by the same corporate parent, because their styling approaches couldn't be more different! Mac has held to the traditional Mac look even as its products evolve. ARC seems to want to reinvent the wheel.

Obviously they must feel ARC customers are more open to change than MAC customers.
