Warn me about bottoming out? What amp did you have with yours? Mine don't ever bottom out. I've had them long enough that if it were the problem you claim, it would have happened by now.
As I said, they may bottom out if you push them too hard with an amp that isn't up to the task. You don't need a lot of amp to make them sound nice at moderately loud volume, as long as you don't expect too much from them. That's not a flaw of the speakers. It's how they operate. If you really want to push them hard you need a high current amp that can control them at high volume.
