I have a similar system to you, on a slightly smaller scale. I have a PASS XA30.5 and Cardas Clear Light interconnects and speaker cables, and an aR2p-TO power conditioner.
I've had similar experience to you with effect of the power conditioner. I am a huge fan of the Cardas Clear range, having auditioned many cables. George Cardas I believe only uses pure copper.
One of the biggest effects I found was hanging an "acoustic cloud" (two 2' x 4' by 2" thick panels) from the ceiling. The effect this had on the treble was amazing. I have other acoustic panels too, but could live with just the cloud. According to the acoustic engineer I hired many tweeters upward dispersion pattern can contribute to an edgy first reflection. YMMV, as I have 8 ft ceilings.
