I think you can find a second hand Oppo BDP-103D (Darbee Version) for around $300.
They are brilliant, I own two. Both image quality and sound are strong points. I never had
issues loading DVD or blurays and their load time is (was) among the best in their class.
They have all the outputs that you'll ever want. The BDP-105 even has balanced outputs,
but its price may be pushed more. With the 103 and 105 you can even rip SACDs to
your computer; it is a bit involved, but it can be done. That is why they have kept their
price after all these years and even if they are not their last models. If you can find a
good buyer and a good piece, I'd recommend them.
