Here's a math rule of thumb for wire:
10 AWG wire has a resistance of 1ohm per 1000'
Resistance approximately doubles for every 3 AWG increase in wire gauge.
So13 gauge wire would be 2 ohms per 1000'.
12 AWG wire has a resistance of 1.6 ohms per 1000'.
For your 50' run is really 100' (out and back) so you have .16 ohms in your feed.
You can reduce that to 0.1 ohms by going to 10 AWG.
Given you've got some beefy amps, it could make a difference in voltage stability, especially at high volumes.
I've never made a change like this so I can't say what it would sound like.
Hopefully other's with direct experience will weigh in.
