Jerome.......I gave Gus to a friend of Marlene. She has 20 acres, a big eight stall barn, a riding arena, and four other horses that Gus has made friends with. I like Gus, but I am not a horse person like Marlene was. She loved her horse. I know she would be pleased to know our friend has him now. Gus is only a half mile from my home so I can visit him whenever I wish. He gets a big pasture to graze in, and is rode regularly. It is much better for him than standing in my pasture all day by himself and only seeing me when I fed him in the morning and at night. I believe Gus is much happier now.
Here is Gus in the far stall with two of his new pals. They're waiting to be fed.
Now it's just me and Keke keeping each other company. This photo is Keke right when I let him out of the shed in the morning. He's already spotted a squirrel.
